Not every move needs a removal company. Often it is a few pieces of furniture from a shop in Pula/Pola to a house near Rovinj/Rovigno, an apartment to clear before renovation, or a sofa that has to go up three floors in an old building with no lift. We arrange a van with a driver and people to carry, from our network, for small moves and transport across Istria.
What we do
- Small moves. Moving the contents of an apartment or a few rooms within Istria, for example between two properties or into storage during a renovation.
- Van with driver. Picking up furniture, appliances or building materials from a shop or a seller and delivering them to your house.
- Carrying heavy items. Wardrobes, sofas, washing machines and other heavy or awkward pieces, up and down stairs.
- Taking apart and reassembling. Beds, wardrobes and other furniture dismantled before the move and put back together afterwards.
- Clearing out. Old furniture and bulky items taken away instead of moved; see demolition and waste removal.
We do not run international removals. If you are moving your household from abroad, a removal company is the right choice for the long distance; we can help at the Istrian end with carrying in, assembling furniture and installing a kitchen.

Old towns, stairs and parking
Access is usually the hardest part. In the old centres of Rovinj/Rovigno, Poreč/Parenzo or Novigrad, and in hill towns like Motovun/Montona and Grožnjan/Grisignana, a van often cannot get near the door, and everything has to be carried along narrow lanes and steep steps. In Pula/Pola apartment buildings, parking and lifts matter. Our guides to old-town houses in Rovinj, Poreč and Pula and renovating an apartment in Pula describe these conditions in more detail.
How it works when you are abroad
- Tell us on WhatsApp what has to be moved, from where to where, and send photos of the items and the access.
- We give you a rough range and suggest a date.
- If you are not there, we can collect the keys, pick up the items and deliver them.
- You receive photos once everything is in place, assembled where needed.
What affects the price
The volume and weight of what has to be moved, the distance, the number of people needed, stairs and the distance from where the van can park, and whether furniture has to be taken apart and reassembled. Moves during a renovation, for example emptying rooms before work starts, are often planned together with the rest of the project; see renovating your Istrian home from abroad.
We work across Istria: Pula/Pola, Medulin, Fažana, Vodnjan, Rovinj/Rovigno, Poreč/Parenzo, Novigrad, Umag, Labin and the inland villages.
Send us a list or photos of what needs moving on WhatsApp, with the two addresses, and we will give you a rough range.
Frequently asked questions
Do you do international removals?
No. For a move from abroad, use a removal company for the long distance. We can help in Istria with carrying in, assembling furniture and installation work.
Can you pick up furniture I bought in a shop?
Yes. We can collect furniture or appliances from a shop or seller in Istria and deliver them, and assemble them if needed.
Can you move things into an old-town house with no car access?
Yes, but it takes longer because everything is carried by hand along lanes and stairs. Send photos of the access so we can plan the right number of people.
Can you empty an apartment before renovation?
Yes. We can move furniture to storage or another property, or take away what you no longer need.
